Opalised Petrified Wood Cabochon

My Mum and Dad bought me some beautiful cabochons to practise my stone setting. This one is opalised, petrified wood from Indonesia with a high copper content which has caused copper flakes to form. One of my early attempts at creating a bezel and setting the stone myself, it is slightly imperfect but this gives it character. I love to wear it and feel the smoothness of the stone.
